Whether you are responsible for developing your company, others, or yourself, the more effective you are as a leader, the further you will go. This leadership development session is based on John Maxwell’s proven leadership practices and lessons – the same skills, principles and values that John has used to train and develop leaders of nations as well as Fortune 500 corporate entities for nearly fifty years.

The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership is the result of lessons and observations from John Maxwell’s nearly 50 years of leadership experience. In this revealing study of leadership, Maxwell explores the time-tested laws that govern personal and organizational effectiveness. During this session, you will get to learn from John Maxwell himself, CEO of Maxwell Leadership, Mark Cole, and Maxwell Leadership Executive Program Director, Stephanie Puryear Helling.

The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership session will focus on three of the twenty-one leadership lessons from the corresponding book:

1. The Law of the Lid
2. The Law of Influence
3. The Law of Big Mo

Lunch and Learn sponsored by IREM Milwaukee and facilitated by Maxwell Leadership Executive Program Director Stephanie Puryear Helling.

Learning Objectives:

1. Understand the Law of the Lid: Participants will learn how the effectiveness of an individual is directly correlated with their leadership ability, and how improving leadership skills can elevate their potential and the potential of those they lead.

2. Grasp the Law of Influence: Attendees will explore the concept that leadership is about influence, not authority or title, and will identify strategies to increase their influence within their organizations.

3. Apply the Law of Big Mo: Participants will comprehend the importance of momentum in leadership and how to create and sustain momentum to drive team performance and achieve organizational effectiveness.
